Los bumangueses que sufran accidentes de tránsito o presenten enfermedades generales pueden solicitar atención inmediata por llamada o vía whatsapp al 3164677841, las 24 horas del día.
Los casos de emergencias, que más se reportan desde el 2020, año en el que empezó a funcionar este sistema, son los accidentes de tránsito.

Una vez el ciudadano se comunica con la línea de atención, enfermeros profesionales definen si se requiere un traslado de emergencia al centro de salud más cercano y envían una ambulancia para facilitar su movilización.
«A corte de febrero de 2022, fueron atendidos 1.177 accidentes, además de 244 casos de ciudadanos que han presentado complicaciones por enfermedades generales», señaló Christian Oliveros, referente del Sistema de Emergencias Médicas.

Cabe destacar, que este sistema cuenta con profesionales de la salud con experiencia calificada y por médicos que brinda el Centro Regulador de Urgencias y Emergencias.
Cabe anotar que esta estrategia le ha puesto freno a la ‘guerra del centavo’ entre las empresas de ambulancias privadas.
